Last week, fans feared for the future of Mobb Deep. Havoc apparently went to his Twitter account and aired out his partner, Prodigy. The two have been a united force in hip hop for twenty years and the two publicly dissing each other shocked many. For a day, many felt Mobb Deep would soon be over, as there was “confirmation” that the diss was truly from Havoc.
Before the end of the weekend, Havoc and Prodigy surfaced at the New York Knicks’ game, with all beef reportedly ended. Still, there were many who were not convinced, especially after rumors of the two no longer releasing projects together. When he was released from prison, Prodigy focused on his own solo career, while Havoc produced more records.
Even after their appearance at the New York Knicks’ game at Madison Square Garden, there are still questions about the stability of the duo. Havoc has stated his opinion on the situation, in efforts of ending the feud. However, Prodigy has remained silent until he sat down with DJ Cipha Sounds and Peter Rosenberg of Hot 97, telling his side of the story.
