Rappers have learned how to take their careers into their own hands. For over ten years, 2 Chainz has been known as Tity Boi of Playaz Circle, a member of Ludacris’ DTP. From 2007 through 2011, 2 Chainz’ sole claim to fame was his hit single, “Duffle Bag Boy,” as one-half of Playaz Circle. The song was primarily a hit due to the chorus from Lil Wayne, who was well on his way to becoming the most-popular rapper in the game.

Five years later, Tity Boi has become 2 Chainz and is well on his way to becoming the most-popular rapper in the game. Now the head of his own label, The Real University, which is a joint venture with Def Jam, 2 Chainz has been featured on several records. On the mixtape level, no rapper in Atlanta has the same type of buzz of the former DTP rapper.

Recently, 2 Chainz was in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, performing at the University of North Carolina. There he spoke with Hip Hop-N-More, speaking on his past success and his future ambitions. 2 Chainz has already brushed shoulders with some legendary members of hip hop and R&B. However, when he spoke with Hip Hop-N-More, 2 Chainz spoke on more collaborations he wants.
