Coming as a surprise to many, A$AP Rocky sounds more like a Southern rap artist than a rapper from New York City. A$AP Rocky has been making headlines more than usual over the past week.

During his performance at Coachella 2012, A$AP Rocky premiered his single, “Goldie,” which is produced by Hit-Boy. A fan favorite, A$AP Rocky wowed the crowd with his new single. The track is gaining more popularity, as the official MP3 is anticipated. Recently, A$AP Rocky discussed his new single.

MTV2’s “Sucker Free” caught up with A$AP Rocky and Hit-Boy, asking them how their collaboration came to life. For years, A$AP Rocky has been releasing popular music, but “Goldie” will more than likely be his first official single off A$AP Rocky’s debut album.
