The 2012 edition of Coachella is guaranteed to be memorable. There is a lot of discussion regarding the performers. While he has not talked to the media directly, Dr. Dre has made it clear he has big plans for this year’s show. Yesterday, the hip hop world learned of Dr. Dre working to bring Nate Dogg back for a performance at Coachella 2012.

Early last spring, Nate Dogg died, following four years of health complications. When it seemed as though Nate Dogg was preparing to heal and reclaim his life, he unfortunately passed away. In the time since then, many new faces from the West Coast have emerged, but it does little to fill the void of Nate Dogg.

It seems likely Nate Dogg will perform alongside fellow “regulator,” Warren G, Snoop Dogg, Kurupt, and Daz Dillinger, via holigram. Dr. Dre is said to be the mastermind behind this, but Kendrick Lamar said there are more surprises in store. Yesterday, Power 106’s “L.A. Leakers” caught up with Kendrick Lamar and he revealed numerous surprises, saying “people will cry.”
