Closer than brothers, there was no separating Prodigy and Havoc, the duo of Mobb Deep, the two battled both Jay-Z and Nas, together. For two decades, Mobb Deep has released classic music, building a cult following. When the duo signed with G-Unit Records, many core fans were shocked.
The sacrifice of joining G-Unit was having to turn against Nas, which Prodigy and Havoc did. Last year, the duo reunited with their fellow Queens legend and created more material, their first collaboration in over five years. Regardless of what Mobb Deep did, the duo always stuck together.
Today, however, things have changed in a major way. Havoc hopped on his Twitter today and had choice words for his partner. Among the things Havoc called Prodigy was a “fake Jay-Z” and alluded to him being a closet homosexual. When contacted by Sway Calloway to confirm what was stated, Havoc said his statement was “very real.”
