Former Bad Boy Records artist, G-Dep, surprised many late in 2010, when he turned himself into the police station, admitting to murdering a man in 1993. Because he waited seventeen years, following fortune and fame, to turn himself in, there were some who felt he was unstable. After turning himself in, G-Dep eventually revealed he had no idea his victim died.

Charged with first degree murder, G-Dep revealed he turned himself in as a part of a 12-step recovery plan. For years, G-Dep has been using PCP, dating back to his days working with Diddy, then known as Puff Daddy and P. Diddy, with Bad Boy Records. Despite turning himself in, G-Dep pled not guilty to the charges.

Because of his years of using PCP, G-Dep’s own legal team plans to question him about the shooting.
