Richmond, Virginia rappers, Strap Up & Traptize will be celebrating the release of their mixtape tonight at Aurora. Popular Virginia promoter, Jay30 will be hosting the event, sponsoring it with his Show Your Skills Showcase. With a large crowd expected, fans will need to arrive as early as possible.
Before continuing the Show Your Skills Showcase tour, Jay30 will be hosting the event, while DJ Shorty 1 VA will be spinning. There is new life in the Virginia hip hop scene, which was initially put on the map with the success of Missy Elliott and Timbaland, followed in later years by Pharrell.
When he launched the Show Your Skills Showcase, Jay30 intended to help the artists in the Virginia area gain exposure. However, while he is based in Virginia, Jay30 is also putting together shows in other areas, prominently Atlanta. In addition to the mixtape release party, the showcase will continue, so the fans will be delivered another classic Jay30 show.
