One of the most-bizarre feuds in history, Rick Ross and 50 Cent pulled out all the stops, taking advantage of social networking while doing so. Once Rick Ross dissed 50 Cent, the two rappers feuded for the next two years. But, nothing will come close to the first year Rick Ross and 50 Cent exchanged disses. What began as a lyrical war of words led to 50 Cent impersonating Rick Ross in a web series on ThisIs50.com and Ross posting his series of videos on WorldstarHipHop.com, cemeting their place in the hip hop community.

After filming a video with Floyd Mayweather, Jr., alongside Rick Ross’ son and mother, 50 Cent was ready to come with another powerplay. There had been questions about the authenticy of the lifestyle Rick Ross rapped about. 50 Cent played right into those fans questions when he teamed up with the “real” Rick Ross, the drug lord of the same name. For 50 Cent, it was nothing more than more ammunition for his ongoing beef, but “Freeway” Ricky Ross realized how popular the Miami Gardens rapper was becoming off both his name and lifestyle and wanted in.

In November 2010, “Freeway” Ricky Ross filed a lawsuit against Rick Ross, wanting 50% profit from all the rapper’s earnings, due to him using the lifestyle he really lived to sell records. For well over a year, “Freeway” Ricky Ross has been pursuing this lawsuit and has been calling Rick Ross out in the media. Meanwhile, Rick Ross has risen to become one of the most-popular rappers in the game, with he and his crew being the most-popular figures, period. The winning has continued for Maybach Music, as Rick Ross celebrated a win in the lawsuit filed against him.

After losing a high-profile lawsuit, which he felt he would win, AllHipHop.com caught up with “Freeway” Ricky Ross, discussing the loss with the popular website.
