Even those who are not sports fans know who Shaquille O’Neal is. For nearly twenty years, he dominated the NBA. Playing for several teams, he earned his stripes while playing for the Orlando Magic, he solidified his legacy with the Los Angeles Lakers, and became a veteran while playing for the Miami Heat, winning his final championship with the help of Dwyane Wade.

The words Shaquille O’Neal and NBA champions nearly became synonymous in the early-to-mid-2000s. However, Shaq proved he was an overall entertainer, starring in several films and being one of the jokesters of the NBA. Along with his personality came his rap career, as Shaquille O’Neal released several albums throughout the 1990s and into the 2000s.

Given all the things which happened in Shaquille O’Neal’s career, his rap career is often overlooked. But, recently, the TNT analyst sat down with Sway Calloway for his Shade 45 show, “Sway in The Morning.” During his interview with Sway and his team, Shaq discussed his rap career, as he collaborated with The Notorious B.I.G., Nas, Big Pun, and Jay-Z.
