Now a seven-year veteran in the game, Pitbull has made a name for himself as the king of the party rap scene. Over the course of his career, Pitbull has had a chance to record with many other big names, including Ne-Yo. Last summer, Pitbull and Ne-Yo collaborated for Pitbull’s single, “Give Me Everything.”

The song contains a mention of Lindsay Lohan with the line “Hustlers move aside, so I’m tiptoein’, to keep flowin’ / I got it locked up like Lindsay Lohan.” Upon hearing the song, Lindsay Lohan filed a lawsuit, including both Pitbull and Ne-Yo. Also mentioned in the song is Ryan Seacrest, the host of “American Idol” and executive producer of the E! Kardashian franchise.

Pitbull filed legal documents in New York City in response to Lindsay Lohan’s suit. In his response, Pitbull points out how Ryan Seacrest is also mentioned. Seacrest did not file a lawsuit and Pitbull feels she should not have, either. Instead, Ryan Seacrest invited Pitbull to perform the song at a New Year’s Eve show, which he also hosted.

Lindsay Lohan is suing Pitbull under New York civil rights laws, which protect her name from being used for commercial purposes.
