When T.I. said he was going to make it up to his fans, he obviously meant it. The Grand Hustle leader disappointed fans when he was arrested and sent back to prison. Fresh out of prison, fans were expecting T.I. to pick up where he left off in 2008. During the fall of 2011, T.I. was released from prison, promising to get things back on track. However, T.I. did not meet the same support he did when he was released in 2009.

The odds were stacked high against T.I., but it did not stop him from coming out and releasing several popular tracks. T.I. also added verses of his own to several popular songs, a few were selected as official remixes. This was the case with Atlanta newcomer, Future, as T.I. added a verse to his “Magic” single, which was made the official single. Aside from the music, T.I. also began starring in his own television series, “T.I. & Tiny: The Family Hustle.”

As evidenced on his reality show, T.I. wants to do some acting. Apparently, he caught the attention of the executives of premium cable channel, Starz. The network is enjoying the success of their breakout series, “Boss,” which stars Kelsey Grammar. On the political drama, Grammar stars as the Mayor of Chicago. T.I. will be joining the series as a former gang member who is seeking public office with the Chicago City Council.
