What got French Montana where he is was the series of mixtapes he released over the past few years, something he has not forgotten. French Montana released several mixtapes, which included popular songs. These songs eventually caught the attention of the major players, leading him to be signed to the resurgent Bad Boy Records. Now, French Montana is positioned to become the next big star in the game.

A few days ago, Rick Ross revealed French Montana would release his Excuse My French debut album on July 17. French Montana plans to heat the summer of 2012 with his music, but he is not waiting on the new album to release more music. Currently, French Montana is putting the finishing touches on his latest mixtape. Mixtapes made French Montana popular and he is not leaving the artform behind because his album is coming.

French Montana will be working with his Cocaine City Records artists on his latest release. The new mixtape will continue the Coke Boys series. Coming next from French Montana will be his Coke Boys 3 project, which will be released on April 4, 2012 on Datpiff.
