From the beginning, B.o.B. has received comparisons to Andre 3000. B.o.B. rose to fame at a time when Andre 3000 was absent from the game. Being a native of Atlanta and watching Andre make history, B.o.B. looked up to the Outkast member. When he began recording music, it was heavily influenced by Three Stacks.
B.o.B. took the rap game by storm in 2010, releasing three top ten hits, a record for a new artist. With the game in his hands, B.o.B. gave props to Andre 3000 and, of course, T.I., his Grand Hustle boss. After his album was released, critics compared his style to Andre 3000.
Currently, B.o.B. is working on his second album and trying to evolve his style. Still, the comparisons to Andre 3000 remain. B.o.B. discussed this during an interview with Vlad TV.
