Too $hort speaks on longevity and “No Trespassing” on MTV RapFix [VIDEO]

Sometimes being “the man” is not all it is cracked up to be. Aspiring rappers all hope to one day become the most-popular rapper in the game. But, with this level of fame comes a price. In different ways, every rapper who enjoyed a spot on top paid a price, at the end of the day. Some lost all respect and will never enjoy popularity again, others became laughingstocks, while some even paid with their lives.

While the faces and names have changed, Too $hort has remained one of the voices in the background. This slow and steady approach has turned Short Dog into one of the longest-tenured rappers in the game. During his interview with Sway Calloway for MTV RapFix, they pointed out how only rockers make it nineteen albums deep. It has been an incredible journey for Too $hort thus far.

After recording so many albums, Too $hort revealed he has a method, when it comes to dropping albums. When following this method, it is easy to release albums in a timely manner.
