Recently, footage from the “Shot Caller (remix)” leaked to the internet. Two months ago, French Montana ended the speculation about where his label home would be, signing with Bad Boy Records. Now, French Montana is regarded as one of the hottest rappers in the game. The hip hop world is eagerly awaiting the release of his debut album, Excuse My French.

As French Montana puts the finishing touches on his debut album, he will continue to deliver music to the streets. However, French Montana will also release more singles in anticipation for the album. The first single from the album was “Shot Caller” and the remix, which features Rick Ross and Diddy, is the second single. While things are looking up for the new Bad Boy signee, many fans are wondering about his own brand.

On the independent circuit, French Montana delivered his Cocaine City DVD series, along with running his own label, Cocaine City Records. Before record labels were beating down his door, French Montana used the Cocaine City brand to build his fan base. However, since the deal with Bad Boy Records was announced, the brands under Cocaine City have not been mentioned. French Montana cleared all of this up during a recent interview with Ms. Drama.
