Three years have passed since Bow Wow last released a new album. Since his pre-teenage years, Bow Wow has been in the rap game. As an adult rapper, Bow Wow has received mixed reviews over his subject matter. One thing Bow Wow raps about, which should remain true, is his extreme amount of wealth.
Following the release of his last album, Bow Wow signed with Cash Money Records and began working with the wide roster of hitmakers. During the early days of Bow Wow’s tenure with the label, the franchise player, Lil Wayne, was revealed to be in tax trouble. In November 2010, days after his prison release, Lil Wayne paid off his taxes.
Now, Bow Wow finds himself in a similar situation. Bow Wow reportedly owes back taxes from 2006, 2008, and 2010. On January 9, 2012, a tax lien was filed in Georgia, stating Bow Wow’s list of debt. In total, the Cash Money rapper owes nearly $130,000 in taxes.
