Despite the success Young Money has experienced over the past three years, critics have argued the only popular members of the crew are Lil Wayne, Drake, and Nicki Minaj. Outside of the trio, there is not anyone making moves. Tyga has been a part of Young Money longer than Drake and Nicki Minaj, but was forced to wait to release his first project with the label. As he waited, Tyga built his buzz on the mixtape scene, with several popular songs.

Following the release of “Rack City,” Tyga began working on his album Careless World, which has been met with a couple of delays. Even with his album being delayed several times, Tyga has enjoyed tremendous success through his “Rack City” single. The song has become popular with fellow rappers, as Fabolous, Wale, and Young Jeezy freestyled over the track.

With Fabolous known for his collaborations with other rappers and Wale and Young Jeezy highly popular, currently, Tyga included their verses on the official “Rack City (remix).” Tyga also reached out to T.I. and Meek Mill to record verses for the remix. Unlike recent songs, which feature a number of popular artists, Tyga will shoot an actual video featuring all the rappers.

Tyga said he will be in Los Angeles to shoot scenes with Meek Mill. In order to shoot scenes with T.I. and Young Jeezy, who had his freestyle shortened from over forty bars to twelve, Tyga will head to Atlanta. Already, Tyga has linked up with Wale and Fabolous and they shot their scenes in Miami. The theme of the original video will continue in the remix video. The original “Rack City” video was modeled after the popular video game series, Grand Theft Auto.
