Ever since he entered the business, Diddy has been ahead of his time. As a student at Howard University, he made a name for himself as one of the top party promoters in the area. Always business minded, Diddy would use his name to land an internship at Uptown Records. The internship at Uptown quickly turned into an executive role with the label. However, Diddy’s ambition would become too much for the label head.

Diddy is best-known for his Bad Boy Records, which has laid the groundwork for his following business ventures. After the label, Diddy launched the Sean John clothing line and landed endorsement deals with several companies. The most-popular endorsement deal came when Diddy became a part of the Ciroc liquor brand family. Juggling several business deals, Diddy has made a difficult game appear easy, as he adds new ventures to his brand.

The latest branch of Diddy’s company may be his biggest project, yet. Diddy is rumored to be launching his own music television network, Revolt. The channel will be a music video and news network with an urban twist. Reportedly, the network already has deals with Comcast and Time Warner Cable. While Diddy has not come forward to confirm the story, the network will begin with a reach of 18 million viewers.
