Given the run he has been on for the past year, Lil Wayne’s time in prison seems to be a distant memory. It was when Tha Carter IV was released when the music began speaking for itself again. After re-gaining his position in the game, Lil Wayne is preparing to continue his run. In 2012, Lil Wayne is working on the sequel to his 2010 album, I Am Not a Human Being, and the sequel to 2009’s We Are Young Money.

Lil Wayne’s career hit its peak when he released We Are Young Money, introducing his Young Money crew, boasting Drake and Nicki Minaj. In the middle of his run, Lil Wayne was sentenced to one year of time behind bars over his 2007 gun charge in New York City. The time in prison motivated Lil Wayne to come back stronger than ever.

Since moving on from the time in prison, Lil Wayne will give fans a glimpse into what he went through in his new book. Properly titled Gone ‘Til November, the book is filled with Lil Wayne’s diary entries while he was in prison. Lil Wayne hopes to release the book on November 28.
