Cartoon Network to premiere Odd Future’s “Loiter Squad” in March

Last year, the world was properly introduced to Tyler, the Creator. Since 2009, the Los Angeles rapper has been releasing music and videos on the internet. It was in 2011 when Tyler’s career took off and he introduced his crew to the world. Tyler, the Creator introduced Odd Future to the game and they quickly gained popularity.

Tyler, the Creator released several hit singles in 2011, including “Yonkers” and “She.” Making waves, Tyler, the Creator sparked feuds with B.o.B. and Bruno Mars. During the summer of 2011, Tyler, the Creator also engaged Chris Brown in a short Twitter feud. The buzz surrounding Tyler, the Creator climaxed with his win at the 2011 MTV Video Music Awards.

Following Tyler, the Creator’s win at the 2011 MTV Video Music Awards, it was announced that Odd Future will soon have a series on Cartoon Network’s Adult Swim. The show, called “Loiter Squad,” will be a fifteen minute show, described as a mixture of “Jackass” and “Chappelle’s Show.” Featuring music from Odd Future, the “Loiter Squad” series will premiere in March of 2012.
