In recent years, Ludacris has been relatively absent from the hip hop game. Early in his career, Ludacris posted several hit records. However, later in his career, Ludacris shifted his focus to his growing acting career. Over the past few years, Ludacris has focused less on acting, too, now focusing on his several business ventures.

Arguably the height of Ludacris’ career was in 2003, with the release of his Chicken & Beer album, his third solo effort. The album featured a number of hit singles and was a triple platinum success. Many current rappers site this album as one of their all-time favorites. But, in the time since the release of the album, Ludacris has been focused on other projects.

Following his comeback release, 1.21 Gigawatts, Ludacris has returned to the office, preparing another business venture. Recently, Ludacris announced he was entering the restaurant business. Ludacris is opening a new restaurant, named after his trademark album, Chicken & Beer. The restaurant will open in the Hartsfield-Jackson-Atlanta airport in Atlanta, the world’s busiest airport.
