After being out of the public eye for a little over a year, B.o.B. returned when he appeared on T.I.’s comeback single, “We Don’t Get Down Like Y’all.” The song was a direct jab at the newcomers who rose during T.I.’s absence. Aside from his beef with Tyler, the Creator and Odd Future, B.o.B. had been basically silent since his run in 2010.

In September of 2011, B.o.B. made his return when he announced his “Strange Clouds” single, which was set to feature Lil Wayne. Days later, B.o.B. announced his upcoming second album, which was to be released late in 2011. However, once the album was also revealed to be called Strange Clouds and the music video was released, B.o.B. delayed the album until 2012.

Towards the end of 2011, B.o.B. and T.I. released a series of new songs and mixtapes to hold fans over until their official releases. With T.I.’s recent release of #FuckDaCityUp and his Trouble Man album coming next month, his buzz is strong. B.o.B.’s buzz is also strong, given the popularity of the “Strange Clouds” single, featuring Lil Wayne.

Now, the Strange Clouds album will be released on March 13, 2012.
