Two years ago, Drake elevated from the mixtape game and arrived in time to take over the mainstream hip hop game, breathing new life into the game. Now, two albums deep, Drake is among the most-popular rappers in hip hop. When his Take Care album was in the works, Drake collaborated with Rick Ross on a song called “Free Spirit.”
On “Free Spirit,” Drake raps, “tat my name on you, girl, so I know it’s real.” While Drake raps of having a woman tattoo his name on them, he had no idea someone really would. A few weeks ago, a woman had Drake’s name tattooed on her forehead. Her picture circulated through Facebook, Twitter, hip hop websites, and even made mainstream news.
Drake has finally broken his silence on the situation in a new interview.
