Among the number of emerging artists of 2011 was Slim Dunkin. As a member of Gucci Mane and Waka Flocka Flame’s crew, Slim Dunkin was quickly becoming a big name. However, over the past few months, he had been out of the spotlight. The rapper was working on new music and preparing to release more music in 2012. Last week, Slim Dunkin was robbed of the opportunity.
Over the past five days, more information has been revealed about the murder of Slim Dunkin. The latest reports indicate the rising rapper was slain over a piece of candy. Following an argument over candy, Slim Dunkin went into a room, where he was followed. The people following him began a fight, where Slim was beaten and eventually a weapon was drawn and his life was taken.
Gucci Mane and Waka Flocka Flame intend to do their part in honoring their friend. The two are making sure Slim Dunkin has an elegant funeral, with a white horse-drawn carriage, white floral arrangements, and a white dove release ceremony. While Gucci Mane and Waka Flocka Flame are paying for most of the funeral, Slim Dunkin’s family will also be paying for a portion of the funeral.
