Over the past six years, Slim Thug has been delivering hit records to the masses, along the way becoming one of the more newsworthy rappers in the game. Slim Thug has made headlines for various reasons over the years. However, the generousity of Slim Thug has often gone overlooked.

At the third annual Feed Houston Drive, Slim Thug performed alongside several Southern hip hop legends. Performers at the drive included Juvenile, Killa Kyleon, Z-Ro, Trae tha Truth, and Marcus Manchild. Upon taking the stage, Slim Thug performed his hit singles, “I Run,” “Houston,” “Gangsta,” and “Creepin.'”

Slim Thug also delivered toys to 200 children at the Salvation Army Boys and Girls Club of Garden City. Growing up right down the street from the Boys and Girls club, Slim Thug said it is a blessing to be able to come back to his old neighborhood and be able to give, instead of receiving. Living through it and being the child who received gifts from charity, Slim Thug told the children he does understand their situation and is thankful to be able to give back.
