During the summer of 2004, fans had the chance to truly get to know Eminem’s friends when D12 released their sophomore album, D12’s World. Bizarre was the one who stuck out the most, especially after his verse on the comical lead single, “My Band.” Before the end of the year, however, the focus was back on Eminem.

Bizarre had a brief return to the spotlight when he participated in VH1’s hit original series, “Celebrity Fit Club.” Since then, however, Bizarre has been out of the spotlight, as was Eminem until 2009. Recently, Bizarre made news when he publicly revealed his crush on Nicki Minaj, the Young Money sensation.

With Shady Records now focused on the Shady 2.0 movement, many had forgotten about the original artists from the label. Bizarre reminded them all of the original Shady Records, with the release of “Hey Nicki,” which gained popularity, even with Nicki Minaj. During his interview with MTV RapFix, Bizarre revealed he had a crush on Nicki Minaj because she is sexy and said he wants to be her sex slave.

Nicki Minaj re-tweeted the video and it has become highly popular. Bizarre said he hopes the two will meet in person, but he will stalk her until then. Since 2007, there have been rumors of a new D12 album, but with Eminem taking a break from recording music, no album came. In 2009, Eminem was focused on re-establishing himself before releasing another album from D12. Now, with Eminem back on top of the game and Shady Records back in the headlines, Bizarre announced the new D12 album will be released sometime before the end of 2012.

Currently, Bizarre is promoting his own solo mixtape, Life as a Backup Dancer for Hammer.
