New York City is known for being the city where dreams come true. The Big Apple is also known as the biggest city in the world. Because there are so many people in New York City, not everyone has their dreams come true. Winters in New York City are brutal, especially for those who are less-fortunate. There was a time when Fabolous was among the less-fortunate people living in the city.
Over the past ten years, Fabolous has been sitting among the top of the rap game. He is one of the biggest artists signed to Def Jam and he often boasts of his wealth. Aside from boasting about his wealth, Fabolous is also preparing to give back. Perhaps drawing inspiration from Lupe Fiasco, the Brooklyn rapper is holding a coat drive. Fabolous is partnering with Hot97, Def Jam, and professional athletes, Robinson Cano and Ahmad Bradshaw for 3 Kings Coat Drive.
Fabolous said his goal is to bring warmth to New York City. New, or gently used coats, can be dropped off at several Dr. Jay’s locations in New York City. The goal is for at least 100,000 coats to be donated this winter to those who are cold in New York City.
