Over the past five years, fans have watched Rick Ross evolve on television and computer screens around the world. While Rick Ross had held things down in Miami for years, he first met the rest of the world in 2006.

Right before the Christmas season of 2011, Ross is preparing to deliver his fifth studio album. The new album from Rick Ross is titled God Forgives, I Don’t. The past five years have been full of changes from Rick Ross.

Since 2002, Miami has been invaded by lyrics from Rick Ross. His first mixtape hit the streets in 2002, as Rick Ross signed with Slip-N-Slide Records. However, during this time, he was under the shadow of Trick Daddy and Trina. In the nine years which have passed, Rick Ross has obviously grown past this. Rick Ross has been living the life many men have dreamed of for nearly a decade.

Due to his connections, Rick Ross was getting radio play in Miami long before he ever caught the attention of Def Jam. While he made appearances on platinum albums, Ross was dominant on the local rap scene. Many would have settled for this, but Rick Ross envisioned the day where he would dominate the overall rap scene. Now, Ross can be seen hanging out with Diddy, evidenced in the photo above, and is now considered the most-popular rapper in the game.

With his God Forgives, I Don’t album on the way, Rick Ross promised fans he would become the focal point of the rap game. Already, his Nicki Minaj-assisted singles are gaining radio play and Rick Ross is preparing the videos for his new music. It is now only a matter of time before Rick Ross finally earns the platinum plaque that has elluded him for so many years.
