However, G-Unit South was shut down by Jimmy Iovine, who owned rights to the G-Unit name, at the time.br /br /50 Cent still wanted a Southern presence, so Young Buck decided to name the company Cashville Records. Initially, the label was intended to be a home for Southern artists who wanted to be on G-Unit. Soon, it was clear it was Young Buck’s own new venture. In 2007, Buck revealed he had his own distribution deal with RED Distribution.br /br /Along with distribution, Young Buck also revealed The Outlawz, the old group of Tupac Shakur, was signed to his label. However, his legal issues and his feud with 50 Cent, hindered Young Buck from focusing on his label.
