Among the rappers writing books is Common. His book is titled emOne Day It’ll All Make Sense/em. Common talked about his new book with the emChicago Sun-Times/em.br /br /Talking about the plot of the book, Common explains it as the evolution of a young man growing into manhood. Common said the book is about love, on different levels, not just romantic. The book, obviously, is centered in Chicago, Common’s hometown, which goes hand-in-hand with his life.br /br /Many have placed Common in a box, as being a socially-concious rapper. In his book, Common says people see a different side of him. While he speaks on the issues, Common says he has the rough and gritty stories to tell, also. Because of the way he raps, many fans do not think of the usually-positive Common in this type of light.br /br /Growing up in Chicago, Common admits to taking part in fights, among other things.
