Styles P discusses "Master of Ceremonies," album with Jadakiss, and His Legacy

Styles P has released a number of hits own his own, most notably 2002’s “Good Times.” Currently, P is working on his new album, emMaster of Ceremonies/ /br /Four years have passed since Styles P last released an album. Styles P’s last album was released in 2007 and was named, emSuper Gangster (Extraordinary Gentleman)./em The album was among the highest-regarded releases of the year, cementing his /br /Keeping fans waiting for one more month on his upcoming album, Styles P has released several freestyles. But, his album will be here on October 4. After the release of this album, Styles P said he will be the one occupying “the throne.” He also stated the entire L.O.X. crew has had their eye on “the throne.”br /br /Styles P linked up with Warren G for the emMaster of Ceremonies/em album. While Styles P said they have recorded several songs together, and released two, their track on the album is called “How I Fly.” The song also features vocals from Avery Storm. With The L.O.X.’s project being held up because of contract issues and negotiations, Styles P will feature both Jadakiss and Sheek Louch on his album. Styles said fans will never hear a solo album from any of them without all three on a /br /While fans wait on The L.O.X.’s new project, Styles P said Sheek Louch and Jadakiss are working on projects, along with a collaborative effort with Wu-Tang Clan called emWu-Block/em. Aside from those projects, Styles P and Jadakiss are also working on their own collaborative album. Admitting they have already startednbsp;recording, Styles P said he was not going to discuss the concept yet. However, he did tell fans to expect more of what they heard on the “Otis (freestyle).”br /br /When asked about his line on “Harsh” about Biggie being the only rapper he thinks is better than him, Styles P stood by the comments. He said he would not have mentioned the line if he did not believe it. When asked if he meant all the legends, including Rakim, EPMD, and others, Styles P said he only meant the rappers in his era. Styles P considers those legends more like his teachers than anything else.
