Album/em and it was well worth the wait. Game returned to the headlines with his new music, along with his frequent Jay-Z disses. Debuting on the top of the charts, Game was happy to be back with Dr. Dre.br /br /Six years ago, Game and Dr. Dre were working on his debut album, emThe Documentary/em. The album was released on 50 Cent’s G-Unit Records. With Game’s project delayed for 50 Cent, Dr. Dre decided to have Game join G-Unit.br /br /While the idea was good, on paper and musically, Dre did not bet on Game and 50 Cent not getting along. A feud erupted between the two rappers and it ended with Game being kicked out of G-Unit and Dr. Dre dropping him from Aftermath. Dr. Dre refused to get in the middle of the beef, but wanted to work with Game again.br /br /However, by 2009, a frustrated 50 Cent had begun to take his anger out on Dr. Dre. 50 Cent made the bold statement about leaving the entire Interscope Records. Immediately after this announcement, Game was moved back over to Interscope. Before the end of the fall, Game and Dr. Dre had reunited. Game explained the situation, saying Dr. Dre called him over because he needed help with emDetox/em. Eager to get back in the studio with Dre, Game linked up with him and the rest is history.br /br /Also featured on emThe R.E.D. Album/em was rising West Coast star, Kendrick Lamar. With so much new talent emerging from the West, many credit Kendrick Lamar as the leader of the pack. Game also spoke on his time working with him. Before he made it big, Kendrick Lamar used to hang out with Game’s crew and he was included by Game, along with Jay Rock, on his tour with Snoop Dogg.
