The chemistry between the two on wax is undeniable. Because of the work they have put in, there are several collaborations between the two.br /br /The duo decided to do something with a few of their unused tracks, which led to a major decision. At the peak of the summer season, they decided to release an EP. Their emTDOT 2 BKLYN/em EP has been all over the hip hop media outlets.br /br /Recently, Hip Hop Vibe spoke with one half of the duo, Justin Case, about his involvement in the EP. The conversation was not as long as we would have liked, due to the busy schedules, but Justin Case provided valuable information about the EP.br /br /strongRead the entire interview below:/strongbr /br /strongHow long have you been working with The Sol Kidd?/strongbr /I met Sol Kidd through a friend on Twitter aboutnbsp;nine months ago. We kicked it andnbsp;I told himnbsp;I liked his sound and we put this together for promo on both ends, so he kept sending me beats andnbsp;I picked the onesnbsp;I wanted to be onnbsp;the EP. Itnbsp;could have been an album, really, butnbsp;I wanted to keep it simple.br /br /strongCannbsp;you explain the concept ofnbsp;emTDOT 2 BKLYN/em?/strongbr /The concept came from him being from T-dot, and he’s the producer. It’s his sound and our lyrics being that me, Space Doggz, and Ncredible Bars, which make up thenbsp;Space Cadetz, are all on thenbsp;EP are from Brooklyn.br /br /strongTalk about the collaborations on the new release?/strongbr /On this EP, you have me Dollarmentary (Justin Case), Space Doggz, nbsp;and Ncredible Barz that’s it we didn’t have all members of the Cadetz on this one, not for any reasons, wenbsp;justnbsp;moved quicklynbsp;putting this togethernbsp;because wenbsp;had a lot going on, at the time.br /br /strongHow do you feel about the project, overall?/strongbr /We feel real good about this project, we actually had it done for a few months and held on to it for the right time. We shotnbsp;one video for “Love her Like” and another promo video, “Back Home,” which can be seen all over the web.br /br /strongWhere can emTDOT 2 BKLYN/em be purchased?/strongbr /You can purchase the EP online in almost all digital stores. Thenbsp;keywords in searches are “Justin case – The sol kidd -space cadetz.” Google, iTunes, Amazon, andnbsp;Spotify are thenbsp;most popular.br /br /strongHow was this project different from your other releases?/strongbr /This project is different from others because we didnt feel we had to stick to one topic. We just let the music (beats) take us where we had to go andnbsp;we gave the worldnbsp;five amazing tracks all with substance and meaning, real hip hop.nbsp;I mean, it’s a breath of fresh air and thanks to The Sol Kidd, every track on thenbsp;EP is HOT he really has a lot of soul with him. br /nbsp; br /strongDo you plan on releasing more music with The Sol Kidd?/strong br /This is just one of many, nbsp;I mean we didnt plan on anything yet. We are just getting started with this one, but I’m sure we will be working with The Sol Kidd again, we did this just for the love and promo. Both us and The Sol Kidd have many more separate projects that we are putting out as we go so were just keeping it moving, but I’m sure you will be hearing a lot from both us again. br /nbsp; br /strongWhat are your goals for this release?/strong br /To get a buzz up in T-dot and maybe tour up there this winter, early 2012.div class=”blogger-post-footer”div class=”separator” style=”clear: both; text-align: center;”
