West began searching for additional talent and developing them. Among the new artists signed during this period was Big Sean. Cons made it clear he had issues with Pusha T, despite Pusha having no issues with him. Acknowledging their past friendship, Consequence said his lyrics were stolen by Pusha T. Despite the accusations, Pusha T denied them and said he and Cons were still friends. This led to Consequence announcing his departure from G.O.O.D.
