During the 1990s, Lil’ Kim had risen to become the top female rapper in the game. This was mainly because of her relationship with The Notorious B.I.G. As the flagship artist of Bad Boy Records, Biggie used his position to put his neighborhood friends in the game. Biggie introduced his friends as Junior M.A.F.I.A.
Following The Notorious B.I.G.’s untimely death, the crew did not stay together for long. Soon, internal issues forced them away from the beef with Death Row and the beef within themselves. For well over ten years, there has been major beef between Lil’ Kim and Lil Cease. Kim dissed her former group-mates on her last album.
With the majority of the 1990s beef being squashed, Lil Cease assumed he could end beef with Lil’ Kim. Recently, he suggested he and Lil’ Kim end their feud and reunite for Junior M.A.F.I.A. Because of her new beef with Nicki Minaj, Lil’ Kim is currently riding the wave of a comeback. Cease feels this is as good of a time as any for them to reunite and put the M.A.F.I.A. back together.
The only problem with Lil Cease’s proposal is that Lil’ Kim still dislikes him. Word got back to her about his proposition. Despite his pleas, Lil’ Kim is not open to working with him again. When she was asked about reuniting with Lil Cease, Lil’ Kim said she likely never would. However, Lil’ Kim said God directs her life and only He could possibly reunite the crew. Lil’ Kim said she has not seen a change in Cease, all she sees is a back and forth with him and she could not even see herself talking to him again, let alone reuniting.
