Big Boi discusses Def Jam and Second Album

He tried to release his debut solo album through Jive Records, but they blocked the release. Big Boi signed a solo contract with Def Jam later in the /br /Last year, Big Boi released his debut album, emSir Lucious Left Foot: The Son of Chico Dusty/em. The album was released through Def Jam and became one of the most acclaimed albums of 2010. After the success of the album, Big Boi has bigger /br /Big Boi revealed he has a three-album deal with Def Jam and he plans to keep on working. He has already started working on his second studio album. While he admitted it might not be released this year, he said the album would be another /br /With the new album, he said it will have another eccentric title. Big Boi has yet to come up with a theme, but he said to expect funk elements on this new release.
