With everything Ice Cube has accomplished, he will likely always be best-known for his split from N.W.A. When the time came to sign contracts, Ice Cube felt something fishy and he decided not to sign.br /br /Independent, Ice Cube found himself feuding with N.W.A., primarily, Eazy-E. On the outside looking in, it appeared as if the feud was between all of N.W.A. and Ice Cube. However, Cube said this was not the case. He said he and Dr. Dre remained friends, but they were no longer close.br /br /On his first post-N.W.A. album, iAmerikkka’s Most Wanted, /iIce Cube wanted to have some beats from Dr. Dre. Cube said the deal was close to going through when it was blocked by Eazy-E and Jerry Heller.
