Over the past eight months, Nicki Minaj has appeared on television at least once a week through “American Idol.” A popular rapstress, Nicki Minaj wound up being one of the judges of the show last season. But, her high-profile feud with Mariah Carey made the executives not want her back for a second season.
Nicki Minaj only wanted to do “American Idol” for one season, so everything ended up working out for her. Television is something Nicki Minaj has done in the past, but she is built, physically of course, and mentally, for the big screen. Recently, Nicki Minaj signed on to appear alongside Cameron Diaz on The Other Woman.
Back in her native New York City, Nicki Minaj began filming today. Yesterday, Nicki Minaj hopped on her Twitter to announce that she has been filming. Teasing the filming, Nicki Minaj announced she has a surprise coming up for the fans viewing the film. Also on set filming was Cameron Diaz.

He may not sell like some of the other artists, but Waka Flocka Flame has a large and devoted fan base. Three years ago, Waka Flocka Flame debuted with “O Lets Do It” and he has not looked back since. Immensely popular, Waka Flocka Flame faced backlash from critics when he named his album Flockaveli.
Regardless, Waka Flocka Flame “really don’t care” and said as much in interviews, forcing people to respect him. Intentionally taking 2011 off, Waka Flocka Flame had a big summer in 2012 and is not slowing down this time. Brick Squad Monopoly is dominating right now and Waka Flocka Flame is preparing his Flockaveli 2 album.
Waka Flocka Flame recently took to his Twitter to reveal information about his upcoming album. Late last year, Waka Flocka Flame revealed he was working on his third studio album, Flockaveli 2. Earlier this week, Waka Flocka Flame announced Flockaveli 2 was set to be released on October 5.

“I don’t run rap no more, I run the map” and Jay-Z was not kidding when he uttered this on his “What We Talkin’ Bout” intro of The Blueprint 3. At the time, Jay-Z was fresh off a successful presidential campaign and an owner of the New Jersey Nets. Now, Jay-Z is fresh off his second successful presidential campaign and a rising sports agent.
Already, Jay-Z signed Skylar Diggins to Roc Nation Sports. In celebration of her college graduation, Jay-Z purchased a Mercedes-Benz CLS for her to drive. Doing whatever he has to in order to keep his clients happy, Jay-Z has more he is adding to the roster of the rising Roc Nation Sports company.
Geno Smith is one of the biggest rising stars of the NFL. Drafted as the rookie quarterback of the New York Jets, Geno Smith was looking for the right sports agency to sign to. A product of hip hop, it made sense for Geno Smith to sign to Roc Nation Sports after a meeting with Jay-Z.
